How a request travels

Every request moves through the same record, from the moment you post it to the donation at the hospital.

Posted	Requester	Choose the blood group, number of units, when it's needed and how urgent it is. Pick the hospital from a list of facilities near your area.
Matched	LifeDrop	Available donors whose blood group is compatible and who are close to the hospital get a push notification. When a critical request has too few donors nearby, the alert reaches further.
Offered	Donor	A donor answers a short pre-screening, adds an arrival estimate and a note, and offers to come.
Coordinated	Both	You accept an offer, and a private chat opens between you and that donor. Only then do you see each other's phone numbers.
Donated	Hospital	The blood bank screens the donor and cross-matches the unit. The donation is marked complete and added to the donor's history.

Donors set the terms

Giving blood is generous. LifeDrop makes sure it happens on your schedule.

Availability: Switch off anytime, or pause until a date you choose.
Distance: Set how far away a request can be, with a separate reach for critical ones.
Alerts: Hear about every compatible request, only critical ones, or neither.
History: Keep a record of your donations and when you last gave.
Safety: Block or report anyone. Blocked people can't find you, send offers or chat with you.
Meeting place: Donations happen at a recognised hospital or blood bank. Never send money or documents to anyone.
